Topic: This red cone shaped signed handblown piece of art glass?

Hi Everyone!  I know this is really vague, but I saw this piece of hand blown art glass at an estate sale today, realized it was signed,couldn't quite see who signed it, had an important appt. and had to run, but did have time to put my name on the list to be first in the estate sale tomorrow.  If this piece is still there tomorrow, does anyone know who made it, what country, any ideas on where I should search for it online?  So far I haven't had any luck!

If you can add a clear close up of the signature someone may be able to help, otherwise it's a tad difficult

Thank you, I don't have one unfortunately, I left without taking a photo, the photo I've posted is from the estate sale company.  : )   Trying to decide if I should buy it in the morning for $45 or so.

Imagine it up the other way in a circle of metal as some sort of epergne like object.  Or perhaps a wall vase.

Or a table centre with a profiterole "mountain" built around it.
But working out what it is or what it is for, if it is for anything, doesn't help with maker.

Ha thanks everyone, in the end, I didn't buy it, though I think I would have if I had unlimited funds.  It was a very well made interesting though a bit weird looking piece. I did make out a date on the bottom, 2002, and it was signed though I couldn't make that out. I go for the antique and vintage, and this piece looked like it might have been mid centuryish at first.  But thanks everyone for trying to help me identify this red cone/clown hat... peice of art glass
