K managed to rig up a spare satellite so I could watch it, but I will see if I can see it again online, when I can pause it. No sound though. Margit has some hyacinth vases I need LOL

Many thanks Ivo  Hard enough to find the correct area on an English-language site, at the best of times!

I am hopeful that I can meet Margit sometime soon and see her collection first-hand - a visit that P has been promising me. Just one teensy-weensy matter of a certain book to complete first  ;)

WOW a new name. Never came across it - do you think it is Swedish?

Landed on here: http://de.picclick.com/Antiquitaten-Kunst/Glas-Kristall/Sammlerglas/  might get you going.

I.

Sorry Ivo, no idea really, but... How common was ´Spritzdekor´ outside Germany?
Mainly know them from german and a few french ceramics.

All vague spray-on decors on these powder boxes and vase are done on a satinated milk glass so the colour would adhere better. The high gloss decoration on the apple is done on milk glass and probably fired on. I think the kiss kiss decoration on the powder box was done by hand, the sides of these are spray decorated.

I think we have a mix here of Fria glass, possibly Walther, probably Hoyerswerda and maybe something Belgian?
