French metal mounted vase

Today I bombard you with ID requests. I looked through my collection to see which glasses I can't identify. Here is the first, more to come  >:(

This is probably a French vase from the '20s, nice polished pontil mark on the bottom.
Size 28x8.5cm

Do you think you could try to keep the bombardment down to 3-4 posts a day, pretty please? Otherwise everybody else's posts disappear and get lost over on the next page...
