Blue mushroom posy bowl ? ID
« on: April 10, 2013, 07:42:55 PM »
Can anyone tell me anything about this lovely mushroom shaped bowl I picked up at the flea market today. It had a  lovely polished pontil and is a beautiful shade of blue. An ID would be great....it is quite large 22 cms diameter across the top and 5.5 cms high at rim edge though it is higher in the middle the base is 9.5 cms diameter. :D

The Whitefriars one has that bulge at the base which ours don't have. I suspect one of the Stourbridge makers but no proof as yet!
