o.k. - so Somerset if knee-deep in 'lushes'

Now we eat tea in front of the telly, don't decant anything, and wonder why manners have gone down the tubes.

I've waded through two volumes of S. & F., but am unsure with which book example Bernard was comparing his jug  -  it would be interesting to have his comments on this point.

we are going off topic I know  but apart from the ketchup letting the side down,
we always eat together at the table - it's something I've made a rule given the teenage boys in the house.
