There is a signature that I cannot read on the bottom

That's a beautiful item, however can't help with a maker I'm afraid.
in my eyes signature reads like  Janet L  ... hopefully others  will come around and be of better help

I'm sorry, but we don't tend to discuss values - they're far, far too subjective.
Your best way of finding a rough price is to plug the name into an internet auction site, find a few pieces and watch to see what they go for.
Then take a bit off because you've now lost the highest bidder.

Having said that, Zanetti is very desirable and your fish is a well-made and interesting piece.
