I just realized some dimensions may help.  They are roughly 1-3/4" diameter and 2" tall.

Hi Roger,

I too thought maybe Bohemian but than the quality of the brass hardware makes me think french.  I've seen knobs with almost identical brass fittings associated with St. Louis and Clichy?
