These birds (along with some other items) did not always conform to the decors used for the various ranges.

Exactly the point really, John. They didn't stick strictly to the prescribed colours for each named range,
Hence my "mystery" vase, and my "confirmed" Greenberry which I suspect isn't completely right either.

Is the IoWSG forum available anywhere? There is a thread there on my vase, which would seem to be the same colours as the bird here with the opaque, pale blue splodges. And Ron thought it could be one of the ranges... except I can't remember which one it was.
