Im well chuffed, unbelievably spotted this 18" charger in a charity shop window, £20. Flat ground base.
Is this Mdina or IoW pls? Wolfie

Nice find indeed.  :)

Looks like a large IoWSG Tortoiseshell charger. According to the book this example is likely to be slightly later circa 1980, when the bases were ground flat, opposed to the earlier examples having either a flame or coachbolt pontil mark.
