Cat and Owl clear glass figurine
« on: July 14, 2013, 05:20:47 PM »
Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and I'm hoping you can help me with below items I've picked up today. I'm not sure if they are from the same factory, and I'm not sure if they are new or older, but I thought (am hoping) they could be mid century modern. Any info is much appreciated!

Leanne

Hello Leanne,  and welcome to the Glass message board.

I have one of these cats and have yet to find out the maker,  but you can rule out Kosta Boda, and Lisa Larson as I have both of those,  labelled.
I am looking at Riedel and Walther at the moment and will come back to you if I find anything of interest,  even if it is 'it is not -----'

Sometimes eliminating makers can help as well.

There is a link on this site that shows and mentions the cat:

Thanks Rosie! I've checked most of the manufacturers I could think of, but no success yet... I bought them in Germany, so there it could very well be that they were made there.
