Soda glass vase
« on: July 17, 2013, 08:43:10 AM »
I wonder if anyone can help with this Venetian (?) soda glass (?) vase?  It is 18cm tall.  I am having a stab at the ID so please let me know if I am miles off!  It has an optical effect which seems to start in the neck and continue into the body.  I hope someone can tell me more about it.
Yours sincerely,
Ian

That design is downright frivolous but it does not conjure up venetian to me - it is also too thick for Soda glass venetian style. I'd sooner think in the direction of Gordiola.... again.

It is frivolous, isn't it?  I am amazed it is in one piece.  Thank you, Ivo.
