Topic: Tall Red Glass Vase With Rough Pontil

Hi. It's been a very, very long time since I've spent any time here. I just don't seem to have so much time anymore. I will have to put that right.

I bought this vase on a recent day trip to Devon. I saw it in a charity shop. Initially I thought it was probably brand new as I have seen pieces with similar rings in department stores etc. However the base is concave and has a rough, unpolished pontil. There is also a fair bit of wear to the edges of the base, so maybe it does have a bit of age.

I've checked through my books etc but cannot see a similar one. If anyone could help me with identification I would be really grateful. Cheers, Nick
