huge textured cigar? ashtray, anyone recognise it please
« on: September 02, 2013, 05:12:17 PM »
hello all,

I'm trying to pin this textured ashtray down, the indents appear graduated to hold a thinner or larger smokey stick (not being a smoker I'm not sure)

I think there is a strong overall resemblance to an Anchor Hocking Soreno ashtray I have so wondering if it may have originated in the States rather than the UK?

size 8 and 1/4 inches wide x 2 inches deep (21x5cm)

any pointers gratefully received

Mel x

Can't remember exactly right now but I had one like this at one time and I think it was made by Viking or Pilgrim in the US.
