Miluse Roubickova vase, 1960

(1/4) > >>

rocco:
Finally got hold of one of these lovely spiky Roubickova vases, shown at the Triennale Milano 1960.
Featured widely in CGR in the early 1960s, and also included in the Raban book >> Link.

To me quite an important addition to my Czech glass collection :)
And not that easy to find...

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fantastic piece, Michael! And just went I thought your Czech glass collection couldn't possibly get any better.

How I would love to run my hands over it (over and over and over again).

How tall is it, please?

rocco:
Thank you Anik and Norman :D

Out of sheer excitement I forgot the dimensions, sorry; it is 29 cm tall.

bOBA:
Lovely piece Michael. Museum quality is always nice to see and is rare to find. This must be one of the top twenty most recognisable/important pieces of postwar Czech glass art.
