Seguso or other Clam vase
« on: September 24, 2013, 07:45:39 AM »
Hi all - we went away for a trip around Young, Grenfell and Orange in NSW Australia over the weekend. I was surprised to see this in a pottery shop in Carcor a tiny village near Bathurst.

As she did not want a lot of money for it [although she would not come down] I bought it for Alison as a 'user' for flowers etc.

Any idea if this is SVDA or some other manufacturer? I like it without being OTT about it.

regards

Not sure of the maker ardy. Once these loose the label, can be hard to find out. Pinkspoons is right though, Cenedese did a lotof these. I have a blue & green sommerso one I picked up for a few dollars. I quite like it as well.

Hi Kane and Pink spoons - I don't think it will fund my retirement but I quite like it. Would have preferred a large piece of A.S. but such is life.
