Pink divided Platter/plate 1930's Bernsdorf -Ilse ?
« on: October 16, 2013, 04:10:03 AM »
Hi again,i have found some info on this plate possibly BUT the one I found showing as Bernsdorf Ilse 1930's,has the pattern to the centre going all the way from the base to the edge of the start of the body (hope you follow)

Does anyone know if this plate has been produced by anyone else,i found the above on Pamela's pressed glass site.
My piece looks quite newish without much wear.
Many thanks

The clear base points to Walther MEISTERSTÜCK # 47440 here   :)

Hi Pamela & thanks for your reply.
The base is not clear, sorry for my bad description.
If you look to the centre where there is a slight flash there is a common circle design that you see on a lot of glass. It would not show up well but I will attempt another photo.

Many thanks

Thank you for the additional photo of the base - in general this pattern is most difficult to attribute  ::)

Streit NEW YORK similar star in the base, but only 9 panels

Brockwitz CHICAGO

Radeberg ROLAND

Walther-VMG 1931 RHEINGOLD

Walther Export 1932 ROMEO

Sachsenglas 1953 AMELIA with 12 panels is the closest I can get from the german catalogues

You might like to investigate also Stölzle, Schreiber, Val St. Lambert, Davidson and USA also... :-\
