Crown Crystal, Christchurch, New Zealand
chopin-liszt:
It looks to be the same corrally-reddy pink - it is a lovely cheerful colour - and very food-y.
Some of mine have screen-printed gooseberry sprays or snowflakes on, in white.
I haven't found any of the other patterns yet. :'(
They're great for crumbles as well as all sorts of casseroley things. ;D
They make good mixing bowls too - they have nice round bottoms. :)
I do have to confess though, to using one of those massive big white Corning glass flat dishes for my cottage pies.
It isn't nearly as pretty as Pyrex, but it's still really good practical glass cookware.
meegs:
Well as predicted I don't think the complete set has made it through the various flat moves over the years....
However I found a couple of bowls made by crown crystal NZ today and one still has the original sticker and the other one has a mirrored pyrex Australia brand in the pressing
cheers meegs
