A challenge for the Czech lovers  :)

Can't quite match this up to a documented pattern

The green body is both iridised and semi matte if that's not a contradiction in terms

The threading is bronzed with gilt applied on top which appears worn in many places

The rim is cut and polished. Whole thing looks mould blown to me

It has a nibbled rim so will be staying with me on the wounded soldier shelf

Would just like to pin it down if possible

cheers
Mel

Thanks Christine,

My first thought was Kralik but when I couldn't match either the shape or the type of finish to corded, threaded or veined on Craig's site I decided I'd got it wrong

Obviously over complicating things again  ::)

I like yours,  it's uranium? very nice

Mel

thinking out loud...............         how about Elisabethhutte - part of the Pallme-Konig group, around 1900 (so we have to say Bohemian).            Looking in the Truitt's book, they also seem to have produced a lot of this iridized glass with contrasting coloured thread - not that I've the remotest idea which of the two factories produced the majority of the this veined ware :)

Mine's uranium. Palme Konig is ruled out by the lack of pontil mark I think. If you have time go through all the Kralik decors because they often used on a wide range of shapes
