Thomas Webb decorated Queen’s Burmese Ware vase, RD 86246, 5 November 1887.
essi:
Hello Fred, there seems to be a few different top edge finishes on the Webb vases and dishes.they are not the same as your example but to my untrained eye show similarities.
On the whole they are marked thomas Webb cameo but one example is signed "thomas Webb &sons-RP8016"
Hope i am not leading you down the garden path!
good luck

Don't see Rd. 67648 mentioned here, but this is where the link takes me to, so it's obviously the rim design................
Details from Kew are.......Representation BT 50/82..........and the Register is BT 51/35
Love the upper case T and F........... am I the only one who remembers joined up writing...... and with a dip pen and inkwell. :o

Thank you, Paul.
RD 67648 is mentioned in my opening post (just above the photos) and does, indeed refer to the crimp shape of the rim.

Dilwyn Hier mentions acid-marked Webb Burmese pieces from their RD 67648, (which should have been registered in February 1887).
http://www.fairy-lamp.com/Fairylamp/FairyLampDesignNumbers_All.html
indicates that it refers to a rim crimp shape seen on a (presumably marked) fairy lamp, (and dates the registration date to 9 February 1887) but I can’t find anymore information about the details of this design registration, or photos of pieces so marked. Can anyone help, please?

Still can’t find any photos of actual pieces with the crimp shape or bearing RD 67648 though.
Will request deletion of RD 67648 from the GMB lookup request list forthwith.
Fred.
Lustrousstone:
How about this one http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=992 and it has the RD mark
agincourt17:
Thank you, Christine - well done.
I will try and draw Dilwyn Hier's attention to these posts.
Fred.
