Caithness?
« on: October 29, 2013, 06:02:11 PM »
Is this a Caithness lamp base - it is polished sharply to top, like the other two classics (Mark Hills book) heather colour.7 inches high.

Thanks

I rather suspect Heart Foundation/ contemporary chinese or Polish. :'(

The Caithness bases have "slopey" shoulders, not a defined angle between the base and the neck.

I have bought the Ikea version - it is different to this, I agree its not Caitness though after some research - there probably were only two versions as in Mark Hills book - it was the colour that got me - its very like heather - it was only £1 so no harm done.
