Glass Vase - ID please
« on: October 30, 2013, 11:08:21 PM »
Hello there,

Purchased this beautiful cobalt blue vase at a local second hand shop recently, it appears to be a very high quality piece, it stand approx 15 inches high and 6.5 inches across. It is in perfect condition, base signed (starts with N) and is very weighty. I have attached some pics. Would like any info such as maker, year made, design and a rough idea of value? Thank you :)

I would think it was made within the last 20 years or so?
He's not as well known as he should be, but you could try searching the well-known auction siter for finished items under his name, in order to find a ball-park figure for value.
An item is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, at that time and in that place. It's very subjective, and so not something we tend to discuss here.
