Topic: tall - but tall! - bottle vase with dimples.

Ha! I thought, an easy one.  Let's check Gullaskruf, Elme, Empoli. So far to no avail.

The glass is blue, it is 52 cms (21") tall and has three large dimples in the side - four if you count the bottom which is shaped just like another dimple.

Does anyone recognise it?

It's a new one on me, Ivo.
I do pay a fair bit of attention to all bottles this sort of shape, and I've not seen one like this before.

The rim is a very odd shape - a bit thick and "mass-produced-looking" - unlike the bottom part, which looks less "mass-produced".

On this side of the pond I've seen a couple of those attributed to Blenko, but I don't think it is.  I would have thought Empoli as well. Empoli often gets misidentified as Blenko here. Is there any evidence of once having a stopper?

Defo not the type for a thtopper - the neck has an inside diameter of 1. 1/4 ". Perhaps a hanging ball stopper could be imagined - but this is no decanter, so why bother?> It is hand made, the whole thing is relatively thinwalled. I went through the Blenko documents but did not see anything similar. Still in the dark - and in the rain as it happens.

Is there a raw pontil scar in the center of the bottom depression?

The reason I asked about stoppers are decorative decanters similar to these:  (I've had similar with large openings and stoppers.)

Ran across this one that looks somewhat similar to yours:Three side dmiples but I can't tell if it has a bottom dimple or not.  Regardless of the sellers attribution I don't think that one is Blenko, and if it were Blenko it wouldn't likely be Winslow Anderson.   Or maybe it is.  I may check some catalogs this evening.

The bottom depression has no pontil mark, just a large dimple like the ones in the side.
