is this bud vase Alexandrite / Neodymium glass any help greatful

sometimes this looks green glass then in certain light it goes from blue to purple, is this Alexandrite Neodymium glass
i have tried it under uv light but not much happens. any other info would be grateful as well

Yes it is neodymium glass and probably Murano. UV has no effect on neodymium http://www.mindspring.com/~reyne/neowhatsis.html

It will be pale amethyst in sunlight or a tungsten globe light.  It will show its green under fluorescent lighting.  This is because it fluoresces due to the chemicals used.  Most often it is a pale blue colour but the green is quite common as well.

It doesn't fluoresce, i.e., emit light, like uranium glass. It's to do with which wavelengths it absorbs from the differing wavelengths being shone on it. They are not the same
