Help to ID a pair of Uranium Opalescent / Pearline Candlesticks
« on: October 30, 2013, 05:59:43 PM »
A pair of uranium opalescent or pearline candlesticks. They came from a large private collection of mostly British pressed glass.
There are a very similar pair of Sowerby glass candlesticks with a ribbed base and column but they have a round top not square as these.

Height 8.25" or 21cm.

Any thoughts welcomed.

Thanks Roy

Those are incredible, but I have no clue who made them.

I have had a good look for a match for these candlesticks with no luck.

Nearest I can find is Sowerby .

Both candlesticks are unmarked.

the whole look of them shouts Sowerby doesn't it.

Do you have a geiger reading of the uranium content?

Hi Mel

I agree they do look very Sowerby.

I do not have a geiger reading for them.
