A pressed flint glass epergne with external decorative pattern imitating fan and diamond cutting, and Reg. 594129 embossed on the side (which should have been registered in December 1911 or January 1912.
The EPNS metal base mount is stamped with a makers shield mark containing the initials WJM&Co ( believed to be the pre-1899 mark of William James Myatt and Company the company was established in Birmingham in 1895, and in 1899 became a limited company and altered their stamp mark accordingly, so it may be that the glass epergne was fitted to old metal mount (either at manufacture or some time afterwards).
The mounted epergne is approximately 27 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter.
