A rectangular thick pressed glass lidded dish or box which measures approximately 4 x 5½  x 2½ inches, decorated externally with imitation  cut pattern of squares and star facets, and the base bearing the registered design number 789791 (which would have been registered in January or February 1934).

(Permission for the re-use of these images on the GMB granted by cathyonne).

RD 789791 is not listed at http://www.great-glass.co.uk/glass%20notes/regnos09.htm

Is RD 789791 in the “Blue Book”? If so, would some kind GMB member let me have the precise registration details, please?

A rectangular butter? dish with the same registered design number is mentioned in passing a couple of times in a GMB topic discussion at
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,37934.0.html
but the discussion quickly veers off track and becomes mired in the details of the potential designer of a Hukin and Heath EPNS metal mount, and no-one actually gets round to trying to find out the precise registration details of the RD 789791glass item.

Looks Libochovice:
# 1468 (page 3 of their catalogue pre 1958, see Newhall); and as in PK 2009-4 and 2010-01-06 (both not visible online)

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
