Not Chinese.

A butterfly with outlined wings is well known in Bohemian / Czech work. But some examples are known that originated in St Helens glassworks made by immigrant Czech workers in their own time.

Okay thanks had a few of the St Helens glass ones that were not finished off as good thought the polished base may have denoted a different source.

One of mine has a shiny base, two have ground matte bases and the rest have snapped pontil marks.
