Celery vase?

Hi all,i've always had this down as a celery vase but i'm not sure when celery took off,this piece has a polished pontil and lot of wear to the foot,there is also lot's of bits and bobs in the glass and tooling  marks,i'm guessing at first half of the 19 century.11cm wd and 16cm ht,any thoughts many thanks.
