Monart 'MC', turquoise and aventurine

(1/1)

David E:
Hi, I would be grateful for confirmation on whether this is a Monart dish.

It measures 9½" diameter x 2¾" deep featuring a turquoise centre with an amber rim, and aventurine inclusions (Edit: Code: 428). The nearest I can confirm from ysartglass.com is shape code 'JC'.

EDIT: Title changed to reflect correct shape information: MC, not JC

Do you need photos of this, Frank?

Frank:
No it is MC size VI, example is a small one so proportions vary a little, yes please to pics.

Colour is probably 428 and definitely pre-war, possibly early 30's but don't quote me on that :)

David E:
I wasn't sure about 'MC' as the sides seemed deeper, but I suppose this depends on the diameter anyway. Great.

As if! :D  Actually I have to offer this for sale on behalf of someone so this advice is helpful.

The linked images are all 640 wide but I still have the originals in higher res. if you need these. Any other angles?

Frank:
That lot is great, thanks.
