hi - I can see your reasoning for suggesting Timo Sarpaneva - his 'Festivo' textured pieces for example are not too disimilar, although this tumbelr shows a design with lines, and I'm unsure if he produced this particular surface decoration  -  some of his pieces were in production for a longish time I believe.
The other obvious contender for these ice/bark surface textured pieces would be Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala - but again my books lack adequate catalogue pix, and I can't find this particular design.
Most of the Scandi pieces designs mentioned have simply a random surfact texture, rather than a lined pattern such as yours.

Regret I can't offer other suggestions - we need an expert on Sandi glass ;D

P.S.    Just noticed the attractive shade of nail varnish -  so might suggest we refrain from calling you Robert? ;) ;)

Hi Roberta ;)  -  I'm sure the Mods. will be happy to help you with switching this to the Scandinavian section, and I wish you luck with an id.
My interest in glass is only in a general sense - I have no special knowledge in any particular area.

Hi Robertglass,

We prefer to leave ID requests in the general Glass forum until a positive ID is made. People knowledgeable in Scandi glass do read this forum.

However, I will change the Title to show a "Scandi?" possibility.

I don't know about your glass, Roberta, although I DO like it very much.  I just wanted to say this is my third incarnation on here, so if you do get your head bitten off, you can always take a deep breath and come back as someone else.  No offense meant to anyone at all, just trying to reassure a new person.
