Murano Blackamoor
« on: December 17, 2013, 03:20:32 AM »
Hello...I purchased this Blackamoor and am hoping someone may have an idea who the maker is and when it was made. The piece stands 16.5" tall. There is a piece I found that has very similar characteristics such as: The construction of the candle holders, the ruffles around the neck, the ruffles hanging from the elbows, how the waistcoat is presented front and back, the ruffles hanging from the knees, the pointed shoes with a curly Q heel, and the base. It is listed as Barovier. This where I found the comparable figurine.

Any help in identifying it is appreciated.

Rick
