Kosta Piece?
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:11:46 PM »
Hello,

I would love some help identifying this piece. The label isn't in great shape but appears to be a foil Kosta label.  The piece isn't signed, however, and I haven't seen anything like this in browsing Kosta glass.  Haven't seen this exact label either but seems to be pre-Boda. The base is thick and weighty while the cup portion is very thin to the point of being sharp where it tapers up. It's just over 5 inches at its widest and just under 5 inches at its tallest.  If anyone can help, I'd like to know if this is in fact Kosta and what the date might be.

Thank you!!

I've found the label on a couple pieces online now, one from the 50's by Lindstrand.  So maybe an unsigned/marked production piece from around then?

It's tableware so more likely to have been labelled rather than hand marked
