Murano Mandruzzato Sommerso?
« on: December 27, 2013, 03:57:31 PM »
It was an art glass Christams for me.  Here is another find, a 3x3x2 cube with label.  It looks to me like it is a 1960s Mandruzzato sommerso based on the research I have done, but because these aren't signed the label is the only clue to the age and artist.  It is consistent with the shape and colors of a Mandruzzato piece I saw on their website, but would appreciate any additional information and any estmate of the value.  It is in perfect condition, no chips or scratches.  Thanks.

Thanks, I have had a hard time saving my photos so they come in under the Kb limit, but will try to do so in future posts so I can include multiple photos on the same message.

The 125 kb limit is per photo, so 4 x125 kb per post, though a bit smaller than 125 kb each  is better

Thanks, wasn't certain of this myself.  Appreciate your info.

Easy way to get 4 photo's on is to take pics with your digital camera on manual settings and set the picture size to 0.3 pixels or less, that lets you post with no upload problems.  The glass looks lovely i have a load of similar pieces some labeled , only one out of 30 odd with no damage, great when they catch the sunlight. regards Chris.

The pictures Pugrider has uploaded are fine; it's just that he can attach four like these to each post. High-res pictures resized are much better thanh untreated low-res ones, as low-res ones can turn into big pixellated blobs when enlarged.

First Pugrider you have to spell "Murano" the correct way....than proceed  from that starting point :)
