Another piece of glass I bought purely because I loved the colours, it was nice and heavy and obviously had some age. I think this is Murano but as you all know I'm no expert - any help would be gratefully received. Thank you :-)

Is there an amber layer between the blue and the green or is it a trick of the light?

Looks Scandinavian to me. Vaguely reminsicent of Stromberg or Kosta, although they signed 99% and 100% of their work respectively.

In reply to Chuggy - yes there is an amber layer in between the green and blue. In reply to Horochar, I'd say this was perhaps too chunky and heavy to be Scandi?

Any chance of more photos Pip? Maybe bigger? Not that I can identify it (although it does have a Scandi feel...) but because it's unusual and I'd like a better look.

PS Can you describe what's going on with the colour? Is it graduated greem amber blue, or is the blue sommerso?

Here you go Max - this picture probably shows the colours a bit better. It's not sommerso - the colours graduate into each other and look to me like a little drop of each colour has been applied to clear glass.

I'm pretty certain it's not Murano might be worth posting on the main glass board.
