Topic: Are these paper weights or figurines?

Does anyone recognise these paperweights?

Or are these just some glass figurines.

I don't recognise them but they are lovely.
Maybe Scandinavian?  That's not my thing at all, but hopefully someone will come along shortly who might give some pointers on possible makers
could you do a clear picture with a single colour background and a clear photograph of the base of each please?  thanks

M, I will try to get you a better picture as this was taken in a very small shop without proper lighting. They are lovely and the dealer bought they a while back and does'nt know what they are but came as a pair. Base is plain smooth and no marks on the entire piece.

Sue, they don't seem to be chess pieces as the face of a man is recognisable while on the other one can barely make out its a woman save for the hair.

I somehow got a feel of boda glass to the touch, same smoothness and clarity of the glass piece. Problem is that the dealer feels the pair has significance and is quoting 75 dollars and I just bought a lovely pair of angelfish (murano, v nason) for 50 dollars.

I had thoughts that they might be by Skruf... Or Pukeberg. 
Don't forget Viking Glass,  USA,  but always look very Scandi!!
Is there good reason to assume that they are by the same maker?  I would not be surprised if they were not. 
I think I would rule out Boda.   They do look very Scandinavian. 
I'm on the trail,  just my sort of glass.

I tried my hand at viking but somehow lost the trail. Skruf looks interesting and older pieces have a similar frosty look and the base
