Antique Pedestal Paperweight - Need help with identification
« on: February 22, 2014, 04:01:23 PM »
New to this forum, thank you for having me.  I recently acquired an antique paperweight that I have been trying to get for over ten years.  This belonged to a friend of mine (who recently passed), and was acquired by him from a local estate.  It's a large, heavy piece measuring approximately 5 1/4".  I've always leaned towards Millville as a possible maker due to the rose, but the base isn't right for them, so I'm stumped.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a thoroughly modern Murano piece circa the 1960s-70s
