In 1969 Vladislav Urban, for Rosice, mixing pressing and blowing techniques, created a successful series called "MORAVA" with a peculiar and rich texture. A year later in Libochovice their textures would become extreme and protruding.

Tango glass. The name “Tango” for this type of crystal with solid, primary and brilliant colors seems anachronistic to us.
We can associate such a burst of color with the colors of tropical flowers and fruits as part of the South American imaginary; but it is difficult to relate to the aesthetics of Tango, a sordid dance and something of a scoundrel, born in the shadow of the streetlights of the "arrabal" dressed in black like cats at night.

The Argentine Tango is the most beautiful dance :)  Thoughtful, intricate, a true connection and full of soul.  The music likewise - you cannot hear it without wanting to dance.
In my opinion  the glass embodies the dance.  The shapes, the colours and the classy black rims on coloured glass.  The blue and lilac and pink glass with black rims is amazing.
