Topic: Firing Glass?

I picked up a couple of new pieces at an auction today and hope someone might help with the description, age, and approximate value?  It has a rough pontil and a thick base.  Both pieces have a beautiful song when struck.

The second piece I have no idea.  It has a smooth pontil.

I don't know.  I'm in Canada and the auction was local.

Un-believable........on the same day........How about the second glass?

         1st  1/2 of the 19th c  is about as close as you can get from a photo,nice little glass , i am assuming its not that huge,with interlocking initials .

It's actually shorter than the firing glass but it's bowl is larger.  I have decoded the initials yet.  The glass is quiet thick.

The approximate value is what you paid for it. In the market there is no definitive price or value of a glass. The value is what someone is prepared to pay for it. You paid, ergo you know the value.

Were opaque twist stem Firing Glasses made by one manufacture, in one location?  Or were they by many across the UK?

           All over the UK , very rarely is it possible to attribute an English 18th c glass a particular glass house.
