Opalescent vase ID please
« on: March 23, 2014, 11:12:31 PM »
Hi
This vase is 22 cm ht X 7 cm wide, Opalescent glass, coloured almost tulip like splashes in coloured glass.
There is no label and no signature.
I was told that it was Kosta Boda 1950/60/70's
I cannot find anything on the internet  that resembles this pattern.
There is an opalescent bulbous vase by Bertil Vallien but it isn't this pattern and I believe his work is usually signed.
Can anyone please help with info.
best wishes
jean

It's not opalescent; it's a painted stain of the sort done by Ilanit or Nahariya of Israel on  glass imported from France or Italy
