Just don't expect this quick an answer for everything, Roberta! ;D
You have even had the maker themself confirming attrubution - and all within about 1.5 hours of putting the image up!

I know, I am completely amazed!
I seen things go backwards and forwards for months, endlessly discussed but still no positive attribution - I thought this was going to be one of those. To have the man himself ID it is fantastic  ;D
I'm a very happy bunny, just need to sort out some lighting to display it properly now!

I have my own piece of Adam's work right in front of me.  :)
It sits on the mantlepiece behind my pc.
So from where I sit, it is plonk in the middle, just above my screen.
It's a much more recent piece, though. Another thing to add to my growing list of things I must photograph for the board. I'll add a pic here for you, when I've got one. :)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

;) I know, ;D  but the story can wait until I can actually show it to people Adam.

It will mean a lot more when properly illustrated.  8)

Keep your fingers crossed the sun comes out tomorrow.

I bought mine directly from Adam, at the Fair in Cambridge in 2005. It's called "Thames, Midnight"  and it is Adam's interpretation in glass of a W. Turner painting of the river.

It worked, beautifully8) 8) 8)

The really sad side of the story, (now it's coming out anyway ::)) is that Adam wasn't been able to do it again - or at least couldn't get another to work out so well, at the time.
It was nearly 9 years ago, Adam. Any joy since?

I have just posted  my complete collection of Adam's work on Facebook Roberta, ... if you are a member, do feel free to take a look.  Many of the pieces date back to the early days at Turnmill Studios in London and there is also a special ellie with a rose in his trunk made for me at his new studio just a short drive from our home.
It was finding an elephant that had a resemblance to Wedgwood ellies that first introduced me to Adam's work,  here is the early link Roberta, where you can see what a lovely sense of humour Adam has.

Rosie. :)  (Coincidently, I was going to be named Roberta after my uncle Robert!)

Hi,
I'm not a facebook member but my other half is, so will have a look tonight.
I was named after my great uncle Robert - my mum was convinced I was a boy so I was meant to be a Robert too, then hurriedly changed when I was a girl.

Adam sounds like a bit of a teaser, I would have fallen for that too  ;D
