Nice carboot find -- glass powder or jewelry box with brass rim, diameter 12 cm, height 7 cm.
Tomato red (somewhere in between coral red and oxblood) glass thickly cased in clear, quite substantial.
The lid and the front side are decorated with enameled and gilded twigs and a cute parakeet.

The base is moulded and has a gilded mark (numbering) I would read as "A/2477".

I searched high and low, but couldn't find anything really similar. The closest I came up with is this orange jug on TheGildedCurio, but the bird and the twigs are not the same (apart from the colour and the base): >> Link

My top candidate would be Bohemian and Harrach, too, but I may be way off...

Any help with maker and date highly appreciated!

Michael
