I have seen pieces like this attributed to Carlo Moretti and was wondering if anyone could confirm. Thanks Terry

Highly dubious attribution - does not look like Moretti at all. At best I'd guess Empoli, at worst Chinese....

Thanks Ivo, if not Moretti I was leaning toward Empoli. Terry

I have a set of 3 pieces in the same style.
It might be Holmegaard or Guildcraft. I am still not sure myself, but did see a decanter just sell on Ebay and it was attributed to Holmegaard.
I have also seen it in a purple swirl.

Your link now points to a Blenko collection shot.
With Ann'es gallery you have to use the link below the pic not the one in the address bar,
Here it is http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2042

I have to agree with Ivo

As to Holmegaard .......polite words fail me.

I'd like to weigh in by stating ...  I have no clue!!  But I do have a vase I bought a while ago that appears to be by the same maker.  I too had thought it might be Moretti or Holmegaard.  Having in the mean time accumulated more glass and more knowledge (enough to be dangerous -- to my checking account!), the base tells me that neither is correct.  Which leaves me ever more confused.  I hesitate to say it's too good to be from China, because that's what they used to say about Japanese cars...
