Topic: Scandinavian ? blue hooped / bamboo vase

Hi,

I bought this today as it was a bargain - not my usual field so know nothing about it. Thought it had a Scandinavian look to it - I have found similar things but nothing exactly like it - can anyone help ID it please. Stands about 9" high with a smooth polished base.
