Anne’s GTS site shows a Czech Libochovice 1970 trinket set tray (size: 345mm x 275mm) at
http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=129&Itemid=125Also shown on the GMB as Hoskins & Rose RD 821596 of July 1937 at
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,32148.msg173755.html#msg173755The only other 197X piece that Anne mentions is perfume flask - pattern 1973A , size: 88mm diameter.
Both pieces are shown in Marcus Newhalls CD-ROM Libochovice pre-1958 catalogue which accompanies his ‘Sklo Union’ book (tray 1970 on page 46, and perfume flask 1973A on page 47).
The 1973A perfume flask has a distinctive ‘arrow head’ stopper finial decorated with grooves (and, at the tips of the ‘wings’, small rosettes or crosses on a panel). The body of the flask is decorated with alternating panels of rosettes / crosses and faceted ‘squares’, to match the panels on the tray.
There is no Libochovice 197X set shown in one location in the catalogue, but there are several other 197X trinket set pieces scattered within it:
1971 (page 49) - candlestick 125mm diameter (the circular foot and the stem decorated with rosettes / crosses and squares in alternating panels). There is a photo of a 1971 candlestick as Hoskins & Rose RD 821596 at
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,32148.msg173755.html#msg173755and I also attach a photo of a pair of similar candlesticks here as a reference.
1972 (page 42) – lidded trinket pot 112mm diameter; the body pattern matching 1973A and 1971, and the lid finial a ribbed ‘arrow head’ shape similar to the perfume flask 1973A.
Now I have come across a clear lidded trinket pot that I can’t imagine is anything but part of a Libochovice 197X set - the lid finial is just like the stopper finial on the perfume flask 1973A rather than the ribbed arrow head of 1972 trinket pot, and the body pattern of alternating rosettes / crosses and square matches the other 197X pieces. Unfortunately, I don’t have the precise dimensions for this pot, and no mention was made of any RD number.

Does anyone have photos of a 1972 lidded pot, or 1973A perfume flask – or even better, a complete 197X set – to show, please?
Fred.
