Hello everybody,

A friend of mine wondered if this vase could be a Loetz vase...it isn't mine but i have permission to use the images...
I mentioned that it isn't really my field but wondered whether the  bottom of the vase could be a bit of a give away...

Please correct me if i'm wrong, i always thought the Loetz items have a polished pontil with a few exceptions....or am i missing something...

The bottom of the vase is more iridescent than the rest of it, he thinks it to be stripped off but i always thought, once it's fired it should stay on....

In the link you'll find an identical piece, ID'd/listed as Loetz but this isn't a guarantee of course.

He mentioned that he thinks it to be a 'Crete Pampas' but i always thought that the veiney applications should be more 'flush' with the body of the vase...

I have found a Pallme-König vase, which looks similar in shape but has, obviously, some differences...i wondered whether he should think more in this direction...

Anyway, i'm looking forward to any of your thoughts on this vase and like to take the opportunity, to thank you all for your time.

Forgot to mention, the vase measures 8,5" or 22 cm in height.
