Vasart/Monart similarities
Jo in Australia:
I’m curious about this Monart vase on ebay at the moment:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7416305099
I have a signed Vasart vase that is exactly the same (well as close as something handmade can be)
http://www.geocities.com/hunebelle/vasart.html?1148788194365
I know Monart and Vasart are often similar – but is it usual for them to be the same? Or, as usual, am I missing something here?
I shouldn’t even be looking through ebay as I have so many other things to do…  *thinks of numerous feeble excuses*
Thanks :D
Frank:
Well spotted! The difference of a label, I have asked the seller what the coding on the label is - I bet the shape code is worn off
It is of course Vasart not Monart.
Frank:
Label is added, colour code is wrong, size code missing and only an E showing for shape.
KevinH:
And the label is creased in two places rather suspicioulsy!
Jo in Australia:
It went for a reasonable price too!
... or unreasonable?
You must be a mind reader Frank - to anticipate the bit that would be missing from the label.
:D
