Mystery glass rod or straw

I've been asked to find out what this is.
Murano?
Glass rod with three holes, two at the top and one at the end.

That, my friend, is a pipe for getting of highness   8)

(The large hole at the bottom of the more bulbous end would take whatever was being, ahem, partaken of, the smaller one next to it would be covered by the connoisseur's finger and let go of at the end of inhalation to get residual smoke out of the pipe, and the third hole is for the psycho-intergalactic adventurer to suck on).

The pipe probably dates to the period of... um, what was i talking about.....so hungry...heh, heh..........heh.

I hope i didn't just contribute to some kid getting busted. :'(

OMG that is so funny. It was donated to a local charity shop and they asked me to find out what it is. What sort of date do you think it is? Modern? It's very nicely made. Murano? Chinese?

That is very funny. I would love to see that piece get pride of place between the chipped teacups and homemade jams at my local oppy. As to origins i have no idea, being somewhat out of that particular loop at this point of my life. I am pretty sure it could have been bought yesterday and i imagine that they come out of somewhere a little more low rent than Murano. Maybe someone else will have better 'insider knowledge'  ;D

Update: I just searched your item and found a bunch of places to buy them and one that says they manufacture for bulk orders in New Delhi!

I'm getting no end of ribbing from the family for not knowing what it is. This is the first time they've ever shown an interest in anything I've brought home from a charity shop. Even my son knows what it is! At some point 'Mum's crack pipe' jokes will stop, but not any time soon.  :D :D :D :D

Lots of lampworker artists are making these now. From mundane to magnificent. Oddly I know of few collectors but I think very big in US
