blue spiral twist green glass vase signature help please
« on: May 03, 2014, 02:31:14 PM »
Hello there does anyone recognise this piece of glass or the signature, it's relatively modern and well made with a folded foot and snapped pontil, no age wear to the base and 5 3/4 inches in height.

Thanks, Chris.

folded feet have been a feature from Murano - although don't know whether that applies to the trailing as well.         Looks more like initials perhaps rather than a signature, but only guessing.
Sorry it's really of no help.

the best known maker of renaissance replicas in murano is the bon family. That' s where I would start.

It reminded me of the high quality German- Czech replica glass too. One very similar here http://www.lesnisklo.cz/

Scrolling down here seems to be a near match...

great to hear you may have found a match Chris  -  forgive my ignorance, but does the corresponding piece have a folded foot  like yours?
