"VINTAGE" Cristal d'Arques vase = after 1968
« on: August 12, 2014, 06:24:30 PM »
Have seen a similar vasewith label attributed as Cristal D'Arques VINTAGE vase. Any ideas please on what "VINTAGE" may mean in this case?  1960s/70s? 1990s?
All suggestions and thoughts appreciated, John

Probably just not in the current catalogue but definitely after 1968 when the brand was created.

My bank gave them away back towards 1980. I see them and glasses some what often in garage sales here in the states. I do not know where the cut off line is for vintage? It is 2014 and folks still call things from the 1990s. vintage, and the 1800s as last century around here. Bob

Searching the Board for "vintage" (and "antique") will bring up some threads discussing the meanings. It can all get a bit vague really especially when a Google search for a definition of "Viintage" will bring up such as:
Quote
denoting something from the past of high quality, especially something representing the best of its kind.
