Crackle glass jug green handle and foot.

Hi all,this jug is 10" high with polished pontil and a nice ring,to me it looks art deco,but the funny thing is it wouldn't surprise me if it was far more recent,you can feel wear when you drag your finger nail along the base,i know jugs are tricky but just in case, many thanks.

crackle is very common, and as Christine is always reminding us - jugs are limitless and very difficult to pin down.             Does the green glow by any chance.?
Cone shaped pieces were still being made I think in the 1950's, so a shape that has a long history, but certainly one that was popular at the height of the deco fashion.          If this were from the 1930's, I'd suggest there should be a fair amount of wear in view of the utility nature of the item.

I suspect this is a non-starter as regards attribution, but you never know. :)
